Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what the RockGuard® HD website (rockguard.biz), operated by Industrial Fabrics, Inc., stores on your device, which third-party services it uses and what happens to the information you send us. It is kept short on purpose; if something is unclear, write to us (section 9).
1. Cookies We Use
Our own cookie is set only when a staff member signs in to our content-management dashboard (the "CMS Login" link in the footer). Regular website visitors never receive it.
| Cookie | Who sets it | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| admin_token | This website (first party) | Keeps an authorized staff member signed in to the content-management dashboard. | 24 hours, or until logout |
| ZoomInfo cookies | ZoomInfo (third party) | Set by the ZoomInfo tracking tag, only if you press "Accept" (see section 4). | As set by ZoomInfo |
2. Browser Storage (Local Storage)
In addition to cookies, we use your browser's local storage: data that stays on your device and is not sent to any third party. It is used for the following purposes only:
- Performance caching (
rg-cache-v1,rg-cache-t): a temporary copy of the page content so pages you have already visited open instantly. It is emptied when you reload the page and expires after 24 hours. - Cookie preference (
rg_cookie_consent): remembers whether you accepted or declined the third-party tag, so the cookie banner does not reappear on every visit. - Staff session (
rg-admin, staff only): lets our own staff know they are already signed in on the website.
None of this storage contains your name, IP address or any information that identifies you personally, and none of it is shared with third parties.
3. Staff Login (CMS Login)
The "CMS Login" link in the footer is for authorized staff of Industrial Fabrics, Inc. only. Visitors do not need an account and are never asked to sign in. When a staff member signs in, the email address and password they type are sent to our server to check that they may edit the website, and the admin_token cookie described above is set. While signed in, the website records which staff member saved a change (change history), so that edits can be reviewed. Staff who are signed in see editing tools on the pages; visitors do not.
4. Third-Party Services & Trackers
- ZoomInfo tracking tag. We use a third-party tracking tag provided by ZoomInfo, which may set cookies and collect your IP address, browser information and the pages you visit, to help us understand which businesses visit our website. It is loaded only after you press "Accept" in the cookie banner (or switch it on in "View preferences"); if you press "Deny" it is not loaded. ZoomInfo handles this data under its own privacy notice (zoominfo.com).
- Google Fonts. The fonts of this website are loaded from Google's servers, so your IP address is sent to Google when a page opens.
- YouTube. Pages with a product video embed it from YouTube; YouTube / Google may set cookies and collect usage data when the video is loaded or played, under Google's own privacy policy.
- Not used. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or advertising cookies on this website.
5. Information You Submit to Us
When you send our Contact form, a Lunch & Learn request or a Credit Application, the information you enter (for example name, email, phone, company, address, and for a credit application also business, bank and trade-reference details and your typed signature) is sent by email to our team, and copied to the colleagues who handle that kind of request, so that we can answer or process it. It is not published, not sold, and not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
6. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you certain rights over personal information collected about you.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. Our ZoomInfo tracking tag (section 4) may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA. To opt out, press "Deny" in the cookie banner, switch the tracking tag off under "Cookie Preferences" in the footer, or email us. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not load the tag.

Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to:

- Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (see above); and

7. Your Choices
You can accept or decline the third-party tracking tag with the banner shown on your first visit, and change that choice at any time with the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer (open the cookie preferences now). Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage in their own privacy settings.
